Okay, so it's a twist on an old ditty (we won't even THINK about what the original rhyme referred to doing outside) -- I'm sticking with stamping.

This card is dedicated to the men and women who have trained, fought and served in every branch of the Armed Forces...and to the families who love and support them.
The stamp set is Courage, item #115330.
Colors are Night of Navy, Whisper White, Real Red and Kraft.
The base card and embellishments were constructed in My Digital Studio, Stampin' Up!'s new digital editing software.
The soldier image was stamped in the traditional manner, photographed and imported into My Digital Studio.
The stamp set's sentiment speaks of courage, using the words of Winston Churchill.
Who Will Stand is a two-hour documentary produced and directed by Phil Valentine. The film chronicles the journey of soldiers returning from battle physically and psychologically wounded.
Many of these courageous veterans spiral into homelessness, unemployment, divorce, substance abuse, hopelessness and suicide. The documentary goes further to profile some non profit organizations struggling to meet the needs of affected veterans.

On this Veteran's Day, let us all give thanks for the courage of those who put themselves in harm's way for us and pray for healing -- physical and psychological -- for all those who suffer because of their military service.
