As I caught that first glimpse of my husband waiting for me in the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport last night, I thought about how very blessed I am.
I have a wonderful family supporting me as I do what I love, a company in Stampin' Up! that focusses on my needs and a suitcase full of swaps! It just doesn't get any better than that.
Before I share some of those swaps with you, I urge you to consider grabbing a piece of this life for yourself. I'd love to chat with you about joining me as a fellow demonstrator. My team stands ready to celebrate and support you, I have a training program in place just for you, and Stampin' Up! offers a tremendous value with the Startup Kit. Wouldn't it be awesome to pay one of your bills every month with the money you earn from showing others how to create cards, scrapbook pages and gift items? Call or email me to arrange a time to chat about this great business opportunity. Hurry — I have a meeting in just a couple of weeks to share all the "demo only" information with my team, and you just don't want to miss it!
Here's one of the swaps I took to convention. I used one of the new stamp sets in the catalog, "Nature's Nest."
Nature's Nest, #113826
Inspired by Nature, #111656
Everything Nice, #113818
Always Artichoke Classic
Always Artichoke card stock
Glossy white card stock
Certainly Celery card stock
Wide Oval punch
Texture Plates, Kit #4
Big Shot die-cut machine
I used the texture plate to give the vellum a rough appearance. The turtle focal point is a resist technique that is so easy using Stampin' Up!'s glossy white paper.
I do need to thank some of my Stampin' Up! sisters for helping me finish up my swaps one night in Salt Lake City.
L to R: Aniko Brewer, Dawnmarie Oyler, Susan Barron, Marni Mendel. They're holding up an adorable bag tag that Susan made for each of us. Then it was back to work assembling my swap cards. Thanks, girls!
And here are some samples of the swaps I received.
I'll have more samples, stories and instructions for you all this week on www.stampjourney.com.
Convention…gotta love it!
