My daughter and I came up with a sweet baby shower gift last weekend. Mikelle bought packages of onesies and bibs on clearance. They were plain colors crying out for a bit of customization.
Mikelle found some fabric she admired and applied Wonder Under to it. (This is an iron-on flexible adhesive with a release paper; it allows you to permanently bond fabric to fabric.)
With the help of Stampin' Up!'s punches – here we used the Scallop and large Heart – we created decorations for the onesies, ironed them on and then made a miniature onesie card.
All that's left to do is tie the stack up up with some ribbon and we're ready for the next mama-to-be…at a price that makes us very happy!
Now I want to try some Big Shot dies for the fabric decorations. And maybe a matching t-shirt for mom…or a feeding apron…or a tote….hmmmm.
