But I especially love it with black and gray.
The stamp set is Close As A Memory, a really useful set of 4 for only $18.95.
The base card is Basic Gray, with a layer of Black. The focal point is made by inking up the flower image with Black Stazon and stamping off once before applying to the small Pink Pirouette piece. (Stamping off is simply stamping the first impression on a piece of scrap paper so the second impression is lighter.)
Next I stamped the flower image in Black Stazon on the vellum piece and placed it on top of the pink, punched two holes for the ribbon to pass through and used the Scallop Edge punch on the bottom.
Although you can't really tell from the photo, the focal piece is attached with dimensionals, so it sits up off of the gray layer.
This is a card template I suspect I will use again and again in different colors and for different occasions.
