Celebrate Those Dawgs

Want something a little different to display at your next party event?CelebrateClosed

This is the front of a trifold display that folds flat to mail.

I thought these would be great to use as placecards for Thanksgiving if I do them in a fall theme. My friend Joy thought of using them as signs for labeling dishes on a buffet table.

The great thing is that you could do them in different sizes and themes.

This sample uses two 4 x 4 inch Chocolate Chip squares, one 4 x 4 inch square of Pirouette Pink, and half of a 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inch square of Very Vanilla.

The 4 x 4 squares are scored on the diagonal from one corner to its opposite corner.

The embellishment is created by stamping the cupcake from the  Party Hearty stamp set in Chocolate Chip ink on a scrap of vanilla cardstock, and stamping it again in craft Pixie Pink ink on another scrap. I embossed the second one and cut it out so I could place it on top of the first with a dimensional. Used two circle punches and the scallop punch to layer the pieces together.

What's your favorite celebration? Mine has always been Christmas, but now that we're in the stage where most of the kids live out of state and have other family obligations (aka, mothers-in-law)so we can't count on everyone being together every Christmas. So I guess my favorite celebration is one where our whole family is able to be together — be it the 4th of July, Thanksgiving or opening day of UGA football! Go dawgs!
