These samples were made by various demonstrators for presentation at the Stampin’ Up! convention this past summer.
That’s one thing I love about Stampin’ Up! — there are lots of talented people who share their work, so when my creativity is at a low point I have great pieces to inspire me.
So many times someone has said to me, "I’m just not creative." Well, guess what? You don’t have to be creative (but I bet you are). You can copy when you first start stamping. You can copy when you’ve stamped for a while. You can copy when you’re a demonstrator. It even has a special acronym — CASE — Copy And Share Everything!
Just as beginning artists copy great artworks to gain skill, so you can start by copying great projects. As you become more skilled, you start to develop a style of your own, and before you know it you’re creating original works. Even when you’ve been inspired by something you’ve seen, you may end up with a project that is quite different from the original.
Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned stamper…don’t let the fear of "not being creative" get in the way of becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. I’ll be glad to talk with you anytime about the opportunity to get super discounts and establish a business tailored to your time and your goals.
